<!-- New York Post, Thursday, April 15, 1937, p. 11. Columna «ALL AT SEA with Dixie Tighe», crónica miscelánea de la salida de transatlánticos, con párrafos separados por tres puntos. Se transcribe solo el párrafo sobre Adler. Se omiten los anteriores (la pose de las pasajeras sentadas en la barandilla para los fotógrafos, la bailarina Belle Didjah a bordo del Normandie, Sophie Tucker) y los siguientes (reflexiones de la cronista sobre las despedidas en el Normandie: dos jóvenes que lloran por la partida de Harry Richman, que se va a Londres por unas semanas para las fiestas de la coronación, y seis que se despiden sin lágrimas de sus familias porque parten a España como enfermeras voluntarias de los American Friends of Spanish Democracy), que no tratan de Adler, salvo la frase final de la columna, que retoma su palabra: «Maybe we aren't correctly adjusted to our confrontations but it seemed to us the wrong young women were in tears.» -->

<!-- p. 11 -->

WE LEARNED a new word yesterday from Dr. Alfred Adler, the noted psychologist. He spoke of "confrontations" to explain the increasing number of problems that are confusing poor humans in every day life.

Very shortly there will have to be a World Institute of Psychology, he says, to help people adjust themselves to these confrontations. Dr. Adler says women are better able to meet these confrontations. We don't quite understand why, but that's how we like to hear men talk.
