# Dr. Adler Cites Delinquency Aids

The lack of social interest and misconception of life are two great contributing factors toward delinquency, Dr. Alfred Adler, psychologist and author, last night told more than 600 persons at a lecture in the main auditorium of the Brooklyn Law School, 375 Pearl St., last night.

Speaking on the "Causes of Delinquency," Dr. Adler, who is professor of medical psychology at Long Island Medical College, declared that this social evil usually can be detected in early childhood.

He pointed out that everything a mother, who is the first person to teach a child the aspect it should take toward life, does should be toward the creation of social interest.

If social interest is not apparent in early childhod, it will not be ther ein later years, unless the individual is made to understand himself completely, Dr. Adler said.
