# Distress Blamed To Lack of Altruism

The true meaning of life is embodied in altruism, or unselfish consideration for our fellow men, Dr. Alfred Adler, eminent Vienna psychologist, declared in a lecture at Union college last night. Lack of this feeling is responsible for delinquency and other social distresses, Dr. Adler asserted. He urged that children be taught the altruistic spirit at home, at church and particularly in the schools.
