# Blames Complex

EVANSTON, Ill., March 26.—(I. N. S.)—Inferiority complexes formed in childhood today were blamed by Dr. Alfred Adler, noted psychologist of Vienna, for lawlessness, abnormality and the tendency for self destruction of present day youth.

"Every child begins life with a feeling of inferiority," Dr. Adler declared in an address. "Every child likewise seeks to become superior—a sort of hero in the eyes of its playmates. The inferiority complex becomes detrimental when the efforts to become superior fail. The turn into crime follows in the mistaken belief that the notoriety will result in superiority. A sense of inferiority is behind youthful suicides also."
